We are Leo, Sophia, Nick, and Emma – two couples who have been close friends for many years. Our friendship is characterized by shared experiences and many loving traditions, including making Advent calendars for our partners. Each year, we have put a lot of time and effort into creating unique Advent calendars filled with handwritten letters, loving cards, small gifts, and much more. These calendars have brought out partners a great deal of joy, and made the Christmas season a very special time for us. However, as beautiful as this tradition has been, it’s always involved a lot of effort. Making these calendars has not only been time-consuming, but also expensive. So the question arose: why should just one person receive the joy and surprises from our Advent calendars? This shared experience is something that could make the Holiday season even more special for other couples, and help them bond more. So we found a solution: we’ve created an Advent calendar that is stress-free and affordable, and which will bring joy to other couples. We hope that it bring many other couples even closer together, as it has us.

We - Leo and Nick - took matters into our own hands to create the perfect Advent calendar for our friends. Our aim was to create a calendar that would not only bring joy, but would also encourage more interaction and shared experiences. At the same time, the calendar shouldn’t require too much time and effort during the stressful Holiday season. We sat down together and started with the first drafts. These initial designs were discarded, because they were either impractical, too expensive to implement, too time-consuming to produce, or simply too complicated to use. But we didn't give up. We worked on making our vision a reality, and kept experimenting with new ideas and concepts. After numerous attempts and a lot of discarded concepts, we finally succeeded in developing the perfect Advent calendar. And it wasn't just one calendar: we created two calendars that were perfectly coordinated, but still individually unique and complementary. Each calendar contained lovingly designed surprises, challenges, tasks, dates, questions, and much more, which were coordinated with each other and ensured that couples could share experiences. We surprised our girlfriends with these calendars — and they were absolutely thrilled! They told their friends about them, and they soon asked if they could have a similar calendar next year. The following year, demand increased to such an extent that we decided to open our own online store, decembermagic.com. Since then, it’s been our annual tradition to sit down as a team of four and completely redesign and optimize these Advent calendars. We receive feedback from our customers and continuously work to expand and improve the Couple’s Advent Calendar. Today, we’re proud that decembermagic.com reaches so many people, and helps them to enjoy the Holiday season together in a stress-free way. We look forward to continuing to bring joy to many hearts in the future, and to making the Advent season something very special for couples.
